SANTA ANA, CA — One of the biggest storms in California has been making landfall in Southern California for quite some time, but the latest arrival is bringing new problems, as the Santa Ana winds have been hitting the Southern California area at a whole new level.

Here are five of the most interesting things you might find on the streets of Santa Ana:

A man in his 60s has been taken to the hospital for evaluation as a possible overdose. He was found in the 1200 block of North Main Street on Friday.

A 30-year-old male is dead at the scene of a single-car crash.

A woman is hospitalized after cutting her hand on an overhead power line.

An 18-year-old Santa Ana high school student was taken to the hospital after suffering a head injury Monday afternoon.

5. A 30-year-old man is dead in a single-car crash on North Main Street.

A 30-year-old man was killed in a single-car crash early Friday morning on north main. He was taken to the hospital, but died before medics could get to him.

“It’s a tragic event that happened, but at the same time it’s also a very sad day for us in the community,” said Santa Ana Police Officer Michael Laughlin. “It’s an extra sad day because we have just lost somebody, but at the same time it’s very reassuring that we’ve got our officers.”
