Kanye West is known for being outspoken, controversial and sometimes controversial. Just in the past few days his new album Yeezus became a sensation and earned him a spot in TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people of the 20th Century.

In a new interview with Lex Fridman of the New York Times, we learned Kanye is much more civil than his ex-wife Kim Kardashian West and says “I hate Jews,” which he says he says out loud several times.

Fridman was able to snag a rare candid conversation with Kanye West at his family home and had a lot to say about West’s controversial new album and the new controversy about abortion.

According to West, his album’s title, Yeezus, is a reference to Yiddish for “God is Great,” while abortion is “the first murder, the most evil crime in the world.”

After the two-hour interview with West, Kanye left his tour bus at the end and walked through the Beverly Hills Hotel to his home to shower. In the middle of the interview, Fridman asked, “Would you please explain what abortion is?”

“First of all, I don’t have to explain [them], cause they know it. So, in my point of view it’s the most evil crime in the world. And it’s all about power,” West, 43, said in an interview. “The biggest reason it happens is that they can, they get a woman pregnant, they get a couple of dollars, they want a kid, they do it.
