There has been much talk about whether Tennessee’s Brittney Griner is the best volleyball player in the world.

But before we give that question the verdict, there is the case of what else she is — a good person.

When Griner was a member of the Baylor Bears, she did something that many people — especially athletes — regret doing. She was asked by a teammate she was close with to go out for a drink with a group of friends and had a couple of drinks. Her teammate told her to come back, and Griner got in a car with them.

She drove with them for a short while, then decided to throw the car into gear and pull out somewhere off the highway that is home to the Big 12 conference. Her teammate, who was in the back of the car, turned around and went back to pick her up.

He went back to his dorm at Baylor and called Griner and told her what happened.

Griner then called her teammate and said she had been drinking. The teammate apologized.

As it turned out, Griner was just walking down the halls and getting into classes when someone noticed her and asked her if she needed some help. She said yes.

But that is not the only thing Griner did off the court. Griner also became involved in a fight in her dorm. She said that she wasn’t really fighting, but that no one would leave the dorm, so she went to take a shower in the bathroom.

There was only one other student in the bathroom, and she locked the door. The other student said Griner went back to her dorm room. Griner said she was wearing sweatpants and no makeup and asked why she would lock the door. That’s when the other student said, “You’re a freshman? You can’t even take a shower without somebody asking you why you locked the door.”

As it happens, there were people around the dorm, and Griner said she told them that she needed to get the door open and that she needed to shower. They let her and she got in the shower, and she told the student to go to the nurse’s office
